Lisa was introduced to Pilates over 10 years ago when a chronic back condition made most other exercise options inaccessible. She fell in love with the practice and completed a matwork course in 2017. After progressing her practice to studio pilates to rehabilitate her body after the birth of her first baby, she took the leap and enrolled in the Polestar Studio Pilates course. Throughout the duration of the course, Lisa used the skills she was learning to manage another pregnancy, caesarean recovery and symptoms of inflammatory arthritis. She qualified in May and has since completed the Oov fundamentals course and is currently studying yin yoga.
