TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

All Sessions 

  • Are by appointment only.
  • Must be paid on or prior to start of session.
  • If you arrive late, you will still need to finish at the allotted time.
  • If you are more than 20 minutes late, we retain the right to refuse your session.  

 

Methods of Payment 

So that you can get the most out of your session, we prefer payments to be taken outside of teaching times. 

 

  • CASH
  • CREDIT CARD: Visa, MasterCard, AMEX
  • ONLINE via Movement Collective website
  • DIRECT DEBIT: bank details are on the invoice.
    AUTOPAY: Via our Mindbody bookings site  
  • INVOICE: Via square payments 

 

CANCELLATION FEE POLICY 

 

We require 24 hours’ notice for cancellation of any session. Cancellations can be made free of charge up to 24 hours prior to your session online or via our app.  

Cancellations can also be requested via email.  

 

This Studio has a strict 24 hours’ Notice of Cancellation Policy.  Full fees will be charged for late cancellations. Please remove yourself from your booking at your earliest convenience via our online bookings system or Movement Collective APP. Cancellations must be advised by telephone, email or by leaving a message in our client message book at reception.  If you leave a message to cancel on the day of your intended appointment, we won’t necessarily return that call.  We will register the cancellation and, if it is within the 12 hours’ notice, the cancel fee will automatically be charged. (Policy Exceptions: Extreme Emergencies only, e.g.: illness, hospitalisation, death in family, motor accident.)  

When possible, 36 hours’ notice of cancellation is greatly appreciated to give timely notice to waitlisted clients. 

 

Initial Consultation Payment 

Your credit card details are recorded to secure your initial consultation booking.  If we do not receive payment for this session within 3 working days of your initial consultation, Movement Collective Studios reserves the right to charge your card. This includes failure to show to the session or cancellation within 24 hours, as per our 24-hour cancellation policy. 

 

Packages 

Packages are a great way to receive a discount on your session rate and for you to get the maximum out of your session by paying in advance. 

 

All packages: 

  • Must be paid for in advance (an admin fee will apply for late payment)
  • Are non-refundable
  • Are subject to expiration periods as detailed on our price list

Movement Collective Studios reserves the right to refuse to allow clients to use packages that are expired. 

 

Permanent Bookings 

A permanent booking allows for you to have the same session time each week and needs to be confirmed with reception. If you miss 4 sessions without letting us know, we reserve the right to cancel your permanent booking.  Instructors may change due to illness or holiday leave. 

  

If you will be away for more than 2 weeks, you will need to complete a Client Holiday Advise Form which is located at reception.  If you are away for 10 or more consecutive weeks, your permanent booking place may be given to another client. 

 

Reassessment Sessions 

Clients will be reassessed after an extended absence.  A further charge will be incurred.  

 

Hygiene 

It is compulsory to wear clean socks and maintain personal hygiene. Due to the impact of COVID-19 it is a requirement that you bring your own towels and socks. We do have some spares for emergencies, but you will be required to take them home to launder and return at your next visit. Please do not leave for studio staff to tend to. As the equipment is shared by others, you are required to keep all cuts, sores or infections covered.  We have the right to refuse your session if you do not comply with our hygiene regulations. 
 

Mandatory Mask Wearing

For your health and safety, we strictly adhere to the ever-changing health advice and sometimes staff and clients will be required to wear masks. If for medical reasons you have an exemption, please make sure this is sighted and recorded in your personal file. In such times you may be required to reschedule for a quieter session.

 

Covid-19 Vaccination Policy 

Under the current NSW health regulations, it is a requirement that anyone participating in indoor activities MUST SHOW PROOF OF VACCINATION before entering. To save time before you commence your first session you can email or message a copy to the studio. We respect your right to privacy and once we have recorded in your account that it has been sighted you do not need to show this each visit moving forward. 

If you are unvaccinated, we will unfortunately under the current health laws have no choice but to refuse Face to face service until further notice or when the restrictions ease. The only exemption will be an acceptable medical certificate if you cannot have the vaccine for medical reasons. However, we will still be offering  virtual classes as well so that you don’t miss out .

Just as we respect your rights to refuse vaccination, just as you have the right to refuse vaccination, please be respectful and courteous in our refusal of entry as we have a duty of care and obligation to all our staff and clients.   

Drugs and Alcohol 

The Studio retains the right to refuse to allow a person to commence or continue a session if they believe that person to be under the influence of non-prescribed drugs or alcohol. 

 

Physical Contact 

The Pilates Method aims to correct compensatory muscle recruitment patterns and improve posture.  For our instructors to properly instruct you in the Method, physical contact to correct your movements will be required.  Please inform your instructor or management if you feel uncomfortable with physical contact as soon as possible.   

 

These Terms and Conditions are subject to change. 

 

 

I understand that I must give 24 hours’ notice for cancellation of bookings or full fees will be charged. 

 

I understand that under the current NSW health restrictions bookings will be refused for those who are unvaccinated. 

 

I understand that my COVID-19 proof of vaccination must be sighted before being permitted to enter the studio.
