One of the most unassuming pieces of apparatus is actually one of the most underrated.

💫 The Ped-O-Pul. 💫 

It doesn’t look like much.
There aren’t a lot of flashy “tricks” we can do on it for the gram…
…but let me tell you — this bad boy and I have a long-standing, complicated relationship.

I know it’s good for me.
But WOW does it make me WORK.

The Ped-O-Pul delivers so many benefits and so many challenges — and it’s incredible for everybody because it puts us into functional, standing movement where posture actually matters.
Lose connection for a second and the whole exercise changes. No hiding. No cheating. Just honest movement.

Today I chose violence and swapped the springs out for some blues because I only had time for a quick workout before teaching…
and, as expected, this guy did not let me down 😌🔥

Quiet. Unassuming. Absolutely humbling.
10/10 underrated apparatus

It’s been a HUGE admin week for ya girl, Erin (and It’s been a HUGE admin week for ya girl, Erin (and we all know how much she hates admin!) so Pilates this week looks like this. 

A little bit of decompression (physically and mentally) before we roll out our new bookings system. New found respect for those of you who spend hours behind a screen every week. 

No teasers, no magicians, no walk offs just a girl hanging out in her @elements_by_momentum_world and @fuseladder and letting her body reset ready for a little long weekend break.

Hey Pilates lovers! We are having a party and the Hey Pilates lovers! We are having a party and the whole @makarlu_ family are coming! 

Props can be a blessing and a curse. We have all been in that class where the teacher has used every prop and you feel like there is just a big messy studio and even messier class at the end of it all.  In this tutorial we will explore when to prop and when to not. We will explore the when, why and how of prop for a deeper connection and how get more out of your Pilates practice.

We will play with a variety of common props and small apparatus and apply them to both the mat and equipment repertoire. This is a fun and informative class with lots of movement and a fresh perspective on purposeful use of props.

Please join Carla @body_organics_education at the Movement Collective’s wonderful and welcoming studio in Surry Hills!

Some props will be available on the day for purchase.
